Build Your Brand through Your Phone System
For small businesses, building a brand is continuous work. You have to make your company look authoritative, legitimate and excellent. To achieve this, you need a brand-centric professional look and feel.

When people contact your company, they should see the uniqueness and identity of your brand. RingCentral helps you achieve this by providing toll free numbers and vanity numbers with call answering options. These features impart sophistication to your business phone system and, ultimately, to your company. A vanity number, in particular, gives customers an easy number to recall, making potential clients recognize your business right away. When they call in, an auto-attendant will greet them with hold messages like promotions, news and special offers. This advanced PBX system from RingCentral can also route incoming calls to the most appropriate place.

Part of a small business's brand strategy is making sure that the brand identity shines through in every interaction with the clients.

Skype Voip service (Voice over Internet Protocol)

VoIP uses your dial-up or broadband connection to make free calls over the internet. The short form VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol and is the technology for transmitting voice conversations via the internet, it's what's under Skype's bonnet if you will.

VoIP has been called a few different things in its colourful past such as internet telephony, peer-to-peer, P2P, IP telephony, broadband telephony, voice over broadband and many, many other names. At Skype we much favor using the simpler term free calls over the internet than the geeky VoIP.

VoIP solutions are available both for individual and business consumers, both offer great ways to save cash compared to the call charges of many phone companies and calling cards. Skype also offers a business VoIP solution called oddly enough Skype for Business.

The really cool thing about VoIP is that it allows you to make free Skype-to-Skype calls – and unlike some other VoIP providers Skype has no monthly fee to make free calls. Yep, if both you and your friend have downloaded Skype you can call each other for free and talk for as long as you like. The same principle will work for business VoIP users, so not only could colleagues talk to each for nothing; they can also receive calls like any other phone with an online number.

In addition to VOIP technology Skype also uses something called peer-to-peer or P2P technology.

How Voice over Internet Protocal - VoIP / Internet Voice Works
Voice over Internet Protocal (VoIP) services transfer your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If you are calling a usual phone number, the signal is converted to a regular telephone signal before it reaches the target. VoIP can permit you to make a call directly from a computer, a special VoIP phone, or a conventional phone connected to a special adapter. In addition, wireless "hot spots" in locations such as airports, cafes and parks allow you to connect to the Internet and may enable you to use VoIP service wirelessly.

The next time its 4:00 in the morning and you are finally riding home, and you get a little worried that those loose spokes may not hold that already untrue wheel together, you may want to ask ol' Saint Catherine of Alexandria for hand.

Saint Catherine was sentenced to death by the Emperor Maximinus (back when Rome was still persecuting Christians) by being broken on the wheel. When she touched said wheel, it was destroyed! Maximinus had her beheaded instead. All of this went down in Egypt, for some reason.

In the middle ages this broken spiked wheel became emblematic of Saint Catherine, and wheelwrights, mechanics, and other Dark Ages types who worked with wheels, placed themselves under her patronage. It following that, since she broke the wheel, she could intercede in matters regarding wheels (gotta love that medieval logic).

As most paintings show her specifically posing with or holding a broken wheel, she seems especially well suited to interceding on the behalf of mutant-bike builders and riders everywhere. Although, I'm sure she won't mind if you call her Kate.
